Dear canadianc1,canadianc1 said:Hi there,
I've been very depressed these days due to some threats given by a person who claims to have some proof against me that I obtained Canadian Citizenship illegally...
He says he's going to supply that proof to CBSA and RCMP and then they will depart me along with my family from Canada.
To be very honest, I obtained immigration in 1996 on forged education documents that were luckily not verified by CIC officials. I became a Canadian Citizen in 2000 and got married. Now I have kids born in Canada and I'm doing very good job and part time business.
My question is that really matter if someone complaints and any real consequences?
Thanks.
how come he knows you got forged documents??canadianc1 said:Thanks for all further depressed replies!
I have spoken to some lawyers and they told me since I have sufficient ties in Canada, have kids (Canadian by birth), and have no criminal records, in this situation CIC LAW will be soft and I can stay here as long as I can afford to retain a LAWYER. Not sure if this would be really a case...
My another question is "Can I keep my current job which I also got on fake documents since 1998?".
Let me be clear why he is doing this to me? He knows that my current employer has an excellent pension plan which is vested in 15 years of continous employment and in my case it is vesting in 2012. That's why he is asking a large amount of $$$ and I'm still not sure if this would be his last call???
Are there circumstances which can be helpful in my situation eventhough he shows his proof to the authorities?
Thanks and seeking some +ve responses at this time?
this is very hard to answer and i don't want to please you by giving wrong hope.canadianc1 said:Thanks asdf111 for your hopefuly reply.
Although, I can eventually win, I may loose my current job and not be entitled for lifetime pension plan or is there something be done to get this benefit?
thanks.
