Hello guys
Please i would like to know if it is possible to secure a job (semi skilled job) in Canada while outside Canada. If yes , how is this possible ? what are the steps that should be taken, do i use agencies or do i contact employers directly. I would appreciate your replies and if anyone has been in this position and successful got a job in Canada , please share your experience also :).
Thanks

It depends

What Citizenship you hold?
What skill you have?

I plan on immigrating as a semi skilled worker . I can work as a food counter attendant , production/assembly line worker basically general labour jobs.

I think that you will find it very difficult to near impossible to get a semi/unskilled job from outside Canada. Its also difficult to see how you would progress from there unless you "skilled up".

Although its difficult...but seems it happens, unfortunately i don't know how - so i can't share much info in this regard. But I've heard that many workers in the food industry are imported from asian countries (Philippines for example) - on temporary work permits
