Hi there,

My 3-year post graduated work permit will be expired in May 2011 and I just sent out the application for CEC in the middle of Oct.
I'm currently working full-time as actuarial analyst.
I would like to know if there's a possibility to extend the working permit?!?!
If so, what criteria need to be met in order to extend it!?

Thanks

You would need an approved LMO from your employer for an extension.

Thanks for the reply!
But what's LMO??
I assume it's a letter...
what has to be included in the letter?

It is a Labour Market Opinion approved HRSDC that the position has been advertised in the Job Bank for 2 weeks and there were no Canadians/PR qualified for the position. SEe: http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/temp_workers.shtml
