Possessing of Money for dependents under family class when they reach canada

Guys a small question:

Do spouses under Family class sponsorship need to possess any money when they travel to Canada? Does Immigration officer ask for it? If yes, how much should they carry?

its not mandatory that u hav to posses money with u .u can only take money for ur own personal use nothing extra money is needed............u may have 100 or 200$ i think it is enough
