I have a question in regards to the port of entry. I am a PR and live and work in Toronto. My wife's spousal application is also approved and she will be joining me next month. Her flights are booked and Montreal airport is going to be her first port of entry although she has an onward journey ticket to Toronto with a layover of 3 hours and 30 minutes at Montreal airport. Her COPR also mentions Toronto to be the city of Destination. Now, I was reading through threads of late and got to realize that Montreal should be avoided as a first port of entry for some reasons however I couldn't get a concrete clarity.
Can you please enlighten me with your knowledge on this or if you were in the same situation, did it cause any concern?
