Hi,
i am waiting for my passport and will need to cross the border in next few days, I am currently in Calgary,
what are my options to cross the border? which one is closet? what papers or items i need to carry? can i do it on weekends? can i travel by my car? do i have to leave my car in Canada border?

what ever info you can provide will be appreciated as this is my first time ( LOL)

It will be either Carway or Coutts.

Why would you want to leave your car in Canada? Are you going to cross the border by foot? You do know that you need a US visa to cross the border? Would you be bringing any pets or food?

You will need your passport to enter the U.S. and to return to Canada.

Yes, you can drive your car to cross the border (I saw many Alberta/BC plated cars cross the border). Make sure you got a full tank on your way from Calgary to the border otherwise you might have difficulty to find gas stations. Refuel your tank once you are in the US. You would find the gas price in Montana more cheaper than Alberta.
