Dear All,

I'm residing in Malaysia for employment purpose from May 15,2022(less than a year). I have applied for PR and got the ITA. Now i'm asked to give PCC from malaysia As well but as per website https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/malaysia.html , it says under special consideration, i dont need to give PCC if stay is less than 1 year. Can someone please confirm if this information is genuine/correct and we can skip to get the PCC from malaysia

I see that the information provided in the link you posted is clear. All you need to do, if you fall under this special consideration is, prepare a letter of explanation addressing it to the visa officer that, as per so and so information mentioned in the link, you are not required to provide a PCC and attach this LOE under the PCC section for Malaysia.
