Police Record From FBI fingerprints

Hi can somebody please take me out of this confusion, I overstayed my visa in the U.S. and my police record from FBI says "arrested for immigration violation" am I still eligible for Canadian immigration under the skilled worker program I will be very thankful for answering my question

my question to you is: did you get arrested?
i am asking this because your post did not mention it but the fbi record does.
i'm not sure how this is going to play out but it's defenitely going to weaken your
application.My advise to you is if you don't have any other choice, just take your chance
because others were in the same shoes like you (over stayed visa but did not get arrested)
but got lucky...and before doing that make sure you talk to an immigration lawyer to
evaluate your chances or post your question to sr and hero members of this forum...they might be able to
provide you with specific answer.

Remember ...sometimes not taking a risk is risky!

I went for registration to the U.S. immigration authorities they didnt put me behind bars but they handcuffed me which me means they arrested me and later I applied for assylum and it was denied I asked a couple of lawyers they dont have the answer either some says its noot a criminal offence some says it is on my record I dont know what to if u know any good lawyer that will be helpful thanks once again

for my own opinion based on what you said, i do not think this is going to hurt your application and if it does
it's going to be in a very little measure ...don't get it from me ...seek an expert advise, and i feel confident that
there is a way out there.
Do not panic and do what you have to do.( Nothing can't stand on the way of your faith and more important your will!)
