Police clearence certificate Urgent help!!!

Hi,

I need some info on PCC.

I'm an Indian, on a tourist visa to US which got expired and now i'm waiting for my extension if it happens. I married my canadian girlfriend recently. I'm here from last 7 months.

1. Do i need PCC from FBI?
2. Do i also require PCC from Indian counsulate?
3. Can i still go and file for PCC while i'm waiting for my extn from US authoroties?

I believe you need a police cert from any country you have lived in for over 6 months since the age of 18.

Thanks for the reply, can my wife start the application process while i get these certificates? As to what i read from these forums it takes lot of time to get these certificates..

And as i stated my concern about my extension, do you have any info on that?
