Police Clearance

Hi Everyone!

I just finish my LIC program and will submit my application for OWP/PR, one of the requirements is to submit police clearance? what is this police clearance, im from Philippines is this NBI? and how about here in Canada do we need to get police clearance too? Pls help

hi manang yes you need to get police clearance from the Philippines ... or any other country where you lived in OTHER than Canada so that means you do not need to get police clearance here.

But now im so confuse, because i ask some acquaintance they get a police certificate here in Canada, but as i read the application forms and guides In live in caregiver they state what u have said.

hehe i kbnow its confusing but some tried to call the CIC and they said we dont have to because CIC is the one who will do their own background check to us ...so we dont really need to get from here but if you want you can get nothing will be loss anyways

I applied for a police clearance here and the RCMP passed it directly to CIC.

Yes, it's NBI from the Philippines..

From which province are you? If you're in Vancouver, I can point you to the Global Fingerprinting where you don't pay that much.. It is legal ang the owner had previously worked at the Immigration.

sorry manang for late reply... ahm i finished 2 year course of medical transcription in an academy so put in non university certificate...you can find in the guide what you should put in here is the link ..and looked at education section
