Police Clearance is mandatory?

Hi,

Is that Police clearance is only required if we stay continuously for 6months or total duration?
Because I stayed in Australia for 1.5months(Biz Visa) one time and another time for 5months28days(less than 6months on work permit).

Can some one please clarify if it is required to seek for Police Clearance from Australia in my case?

5 months and 28 days is pretty much six months. You should expect CIC will expect you to obtain a PCC for Australia. I would do it rather than waiting for them to ask.

Further to what scylla says, IRCC recently amended the PCC requirements so it is no longer 6 months in a row. You'll need a PCC even if you stayed in a country for more than 6 months over multiple visits.

Get a PCC for Australia. Ensure you're getting all the required documentation especially if you lived in Queensland and/or Victoria.
