have you stayed there for more than 6 months ? or are you staying there currently ? if answer is yes to either question, then you need PCC (CORRECTING MY EARLIER POST - IT IS ONLY REQUIRED IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR IMMIGRATION, NOT REQD FOR VISIT VISA)

Even for a visitor visa ? I am not sure if Visitor Visa requires PCC

The Document Checklist and Visa Office instructions for the UAE do not ask for a PCC.

So are you sure this is a requirement for a TRV?

damn - didnt read his question properly before

No - you dont need PCC for visit visa... i thought it was for immigration purpose :( oh well - thats what happens when only one thing clogs your mind.

there is a proper document checklist on the application form - just send those, you will be fine

I am in the same situation. Any question I read gets associated with Immigration.

Thank you so much friends for the confirmations.
Yes it is not required for the Visit visas.
I just confirmed it from the VFS global in Dubai and they are not even asking for the tickets or itinerary.
