Hello friends, Myself and family will be applying for Citizenship next month and have a query on the Police clearance required for minor. The application instruction says:
For any country where your child was present for six (6) months or longer (cumulative) during the four (4) years immediately before the date of your child’s application, you are required to provide a police certificate for your child issued by that country if your child was 14 years of age or older.
My scenario: My son is 14.5 years currently and was out of Canada for 8 months cumulative in the past 4 years. So, does he needs a Police clearance certificate from his home country where he used to stay for 2 months during summer school breaks? Or since he was below 14 years when he stayed, it is NOT required?
Please guide me and thanks in advance.
