Police Clearance Certificates - Valid?

Hi

Please see the below timelines and let me know if I can submit the Police certificate I have..

May 30 2014- Canada FSW Application sent to CIO
June 30th 2014 - Received Police clearance certificate
Sep 24th 2014 - Received PER mail
Nov 13th 2014 - Received a mail request from CPC-CTD-Ottawa asking for Police certificates/Medical

Can I submit the police certificate I received on June 30th 2014? Or should I get a new one.
I see documentation as below
"The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply." So is my police certificate still valid?

In your PCC, validity time should be mentioned, but usually it is 3 months, get the new one ...

I mailed CTC and they replied as below.. Posting so as it would be helpful for any applicants
