I am a protected perosn and I applied for permanent residence approximately 10 months ago and received an email today and got confused about police clearance certificate

You must submit the records for the following scenarios:
 Country of residence before coming to Canada, if the applicant has resided there for 6
months or more
 Country where the applicant has spent most of their adult life since the age of 18

Now the thing is I came to Canada when my age was 19 and after this I am here for the past 4 years , so do I need to submit the Canadian Police clearance certificate or not?

Bro , it says Before coming to Canada , so you dont need a police certificate from canada. and you also dont need a certificate from the prosecution country either. Other than these two country if you lived any country 6 month or more, then you will need a police clearance certificate from that designated country .

I am confused about the second line that says “Country where the applicant has spent most of their adult life since the age of 18”

That might be your country of prosecution but you dont need certificate from your prosecution country . go for these below lines in your AOR

Note: You are not required to provide a police certificate from the country of
persecution listed on your refugee claim

You still didn’t get my point . It says since the age of 18 where I lived more as an adult , and I have lived in Canada most of the time after being an adult. So do I need to get the Canadian police certificate from rcmp or no?

I have received the same email yesterday after a wait of 8 months. I am still not able to see my application status either on ECAS or link it.
I think I would have to submit my police certificate via webform.
can anyone advise what's next...
