Police Clearance Certificate

Hello All,
My enquiry is regarding the PCC..
I have been working in different countries and Gabon was one of them
Before i left Gabon i got already PCC with me dated in March 2006, but my last travel day was July 2006 and i never return back.
MUST i request a new one or an explanation letter will do?
To eliminate any doubt, i tried to contact Gabon Embassy in Algiers , but they never answer my request and i am not sure who should i deal with to get this document.

Police clearance of 2006 will not work for you. CIC needs fresh, like upto 3 months old.
