I would like to know about the Police Clearance Certificate. As I have lived in the United States for 5 years and I have already applied for a Clearance Certificate from the FBI but in addition to this the Canadian Immigration Authorities might require a State Certificate as well. I had lived in Oklahoma and Texas during my 5 years in the U.S. I am not sure whether the Canadian Immigration Authorities will require a State Clearance Certificate. I would appreciate if someone could kindly advice as what needs to be done in this situation as time is a critical factor now.
Also if someone could advice that can I go ahead and apply as a Federal Skilled Worker with copies of all the documents that I have submitted to the FBI for Police Clearance Certificate as it will take up to 12 weeks for the FBI to come back with the results. Thank you for your co-operation.
