Hello Guys,

I am currently residing in the US on H1B visa. I have a question on getting PCC. As a person living in the US, do I have to get the PCC only through the Indian consulate here? or can I also get it directly from India by applying through my brother who is living in India? I am told that getting PCC directly from India can expedite the process.

if ur brother can get it, it should be fine. but generally the procedure of out-stn ppl is to approach the Consulate. it's mentionned in the CIC website.
