Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)

Hi All,

Confused about getting the PCC. I am in USA on H1-B visa for 6+ yrs. Do I have to get a PCC from FBI as well as from the Indian embassy ?
Reason I am confirming is the wait time for PCC from FBI is 12-14 weeks as per their website. Anyone knows how long it takes for Indian embassy in New York?

You should have initiated your FBI PCC process as soon as you created your EE profile. Yes you will need PCC from FBI and Indian Embassy. For Indian PCC, it will take up to 2-3 weeks.
