Police Clearance Certificate payment method

Hi ,

Do consulate general of India accept visa for Police clearance certificate fee or they accept Bank Draft of 92$.
I tried calling them today but they are closed and i am going tomorrow. Please let me know if anyone have any answer.

Visa is just one form of showing you are valid stay in country of residence.
It cna also be your latest I797 (if usa)

payments can be -- bank draft or chashier's check.
And you will end up spending all day. i gave passport at counter aorund 12:25pm collected it at 3:45pm at chicago consulate

thanks for the reply. Here "VISA" i am talking about visa payment like credit card or debit card. Sorry, for not mentioning it properly
