Hello everyone!

I got my ITA a month ago and have been gathering all my documents and I now realised as I started uploading these that the 'police clearance/certificate' document is not appearing on my checklist to be uploaded (i.e there is no section for me to upload this). I am not sure if it was there when I first got my checklist as I knew the police clearance would always be required and so the moment I got my ITA that is the 1st thing I went about to obtain as I knew it would take longer. Now am I unsure of where to upload this document and wanted to know if anyone else has had a similar experience?

My roommate is also applying and said the same thing happened to his and he doesn't see it on his checklist either. Has something changed recently with the required documents or do we both just have an error?

CEC applicants doesn't need to submit a Canadian PCC, but you can always upload it with your Letter of Explanation.

The current requirement for PCC was that you need a PCC if you have stayed in a country(other than Canada) for more than 6 months in a row in the past 10 years since you turned 18 years old. Earlier or a few months back, you had to get a PCC if you have stayed in a country(other than Canada) for more than 6 months in the past 10 years since you turned 18 years old. So if your travel history meets this, the checklist will have a placeholder to upload the PCC. Otherwise you can upload it in the LOE placeholder.

Thanks so much! You're right! It's because of the change in rule and the fact that since 18 I haven't been out of Canada for more than 6 months in a row. But yeah planning to still upload it as part of the LOE given I already have it and they might ask for it later.
