Hi Team,

I am on work visa here in Canada. I have received ITA two months back and am in the middle of preparing documents.

I lived in China my whole life before moving to Canada. I have a police clearance certificate issued in Oct 2013, which is before I moved to Canada.

My birth city is Xiamen, Fujian.

I need a new PCC. Can somebody guide me how to get a new PCC without having to flying back to China in person?
What is the procedure?, where should i apply ? what are the documents that i am supposed to provide?

its quite urgent...

Thanks in advance!

Follow the instruction provided by IRCC here
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/china.asp

Ask your family member to visit a local notary office with you ID card and tell them you need PCC for immigration purpose. Notary office will issue a letter which your relative needs to take to your local police station. Police station will process the request and issue a PCC which needs to be brought back to the notary office. Notary office will issue you another PCC with certified translation and that is the document you need to upload to IRCC.

Notary office may demand an authorization letter from you. In my case, they also asked for a copy of my Canadian visa.
