Police clearance certificate-California

Hi,

I submitted the FBI certifictae couple of months before and now CHC, Delhi is asking for California Police clearance certificate. Can I use the FBI finger print card for this purpose?. I am in India now and can you let me know typical timeframe for getting the certificate from California police.

Also, CHC have asked me to submit this in 45 days time. Can I get an extension for this from CHC.what is the process to be followed for that

You can submit the same card for CA fingerprint also. I have done the same and received the PCC from CA. I am in India now and got my finger prints done from Gaurav of JK Consultancy. He is an expert I would say. They even have finger print cards with them.

Thanks for the information. can you let me know the duration it took for you to get the certificate from shipping the card to getting the cerificate from California.

CA PCC : Posted on 5th OCT 09 and received on 3rd Nov 09.(sent by DHL and received by US Mail)
FBI : Posted on 17th AUG 09 and received on 14th SEP 09. (sent by DHL and received by US Mail)

Just one more clarification. I need two PPC's from CA and the total fee would be 64USD, Is that correct??

As far as I know, one person will need one PCC from CA and one PCC from FBI.
CA PCC : $32
FBI : $18

Sorry,what I was trying to ask was, I need PCC's for two people. With 32/head, the fee will be 64 USD.
