Police Clearance Certificate after receiving Aip and gcms notes

Hello everyone. I wish to ask if anyone has received a letter requesting police certificate after Aip. I haven't gotten any and in Japan we need to show the letter to be able to get the police certificate. I am not required medicals so i don't know how i can get the police certificate only. I already got my gcms notes and criminality was passes-bio. Don't know whether the checked only my biometrics but i got no police request. I also saw a passport request not started yet on the gcms notes so i don't know if the Police certificate is needed and how to get it without any letter of request frm IRCC.

What letter? I don't know the system in Japan but you should be able to get a police certificate, I can't think of a reason why a police certificate would be conditional.

You must show a letter from IRCC requesting you to do a police clearance before you can get one from here. Immigration hasn't sent any to me.

It's very bizarre that you need a letter from the IRCC to get a simple police certificate... maybe show the police the request email from the IRCC and if that doesn't work, send a web form to the IRCC and state your issue.

Okay. I will. That's why i was tring to get ideas of substitute document for someone who has had an official letter requesting police certificate from IRCC. I already sent a web form but thinking if there is any written document or checklist showing that police certificate is needed. Japan sometimes get complicated procedures.
