Police clearance certificate - 3 months validity

Hi,

My police clearance certificate is valid until 9th September 2011 (this is when 3 months is completed since the date issued).

I am waiting for my IELTS test report and planning to submit the application after I have received it.

Question - By the time the consulate receives my application, there will be only 1 or 2 weeks left on my PCC (because of delay in IELTS test report and other delays). Will this be a problem?

3 months means 3 months. My US police certificate (FBI letter) expired about a week after Buffalo received my application, and it wasn't a problem. Just make sure they receive your application by September 9th.

Sorry but I don't understand what you mean by "proof of delivery".

Use a a service* that gets a signature when your package is delivered.

*Like a courier.

i have already submitted my Pr application in april without the PCC. I recieved 2nd AOR in June.
I have applied for PCC last month in anticipation of recieving the MR and PPR soon, however I have not got the request still and my PCC is already 1 month old I have only 2 months validity left.
Should I send only the PCC now or wait for MR and then send it along with it.
Please help

You could send the PCC now with correct file number and a cover letter. If the VO is ND they do accept it... or they used to accept it for the pre june 2010 cases at least...
