Police clearance after FSW PR application

Hello,

I have some question regarding my PR application under the FSW category.
How long does is take to get the police clearance certificate from India if you apply for it at Toronto consulate? Further, can you submit your police clearance certificate for india after you submit your PR application? This things are very importnat for me to know because other than police clearance for India, my application will be ready to submit by mid May. And I have to keep passport with me until June as I am travelling to USA. So, I can only apply for police clearance certificate after coming back in June. Please guide.

PCC is not mandatory at the time of submission of the application. You can send it later when you are asked to do so by CIC.
