hi - ECAS shows as my “application is being processed” as of Dec 2018. I applied for in land sponsorship in april 2018. I submitted police checks upfront but not for Canada (did not live in country 6otnhs during that time). I have not yet been asked to submit background check or fingerprints. Can I jump the gun and get it done ahead of time before them even asking? I am British and have to go through biometrics.

Thanks

Police certificates
The principal applicant and each family member 18 or older (who are not already Canadian citizens or permanent residents), must submit police certificates from the following country or countries with the application:
  • Current country of residence if you (or they) have lived there for six months or more.
    and
  • The country where you (or they) resided for most of your (or their) life since the age of 18.
if you did not live in Canada for 6 months before you submitted your inland sponsorship.....you don't need police certificate from Canada.....you only need to submit documents that's required.
