I got SINP nomination last week and preparing documents for CIC application.

Do I need police certificate for countries I lived more than 6 months in total but never 6 months in a row after I turned 18? (outside of Canada)

I read the lines of "more than 6 months" and "more than 6 months in a row" elsewhere, and just need to make sure.

Thanks.

Its not easy to say if CIC will ask for the PCCs or not. But if you have been to a country where you have studied for some course or worked for a few months, then it is best recommended to obtain PCC for that particular country.
If you have been there only on tourist/visit visas, then there is less chance that they might ask you for a PCC.
This is what I feel and understand.

Thanks for insight.

For me, my country of origin is the only place outside Canada I lived more than 6 months but never 6 month in a row, the rest of the time I had spent in Canada, apart from the few days of vacation as tourist.

I will get a letter of request from CIC for PCC later in the process, which I need it to apply for PCC anyway so it's not my concern at the moment. but thanks for info.
