Police check from USA for Canadian citizenship

Hello :

I will apply to Canadian citizenship this August , but I spent more than 183 days in the USA . I'm not A citizen of USA and I was there on Tourist visa .

Do I need to apply for Police check from USA ? If so ,How to do it and when ?
