Police certificates (PCC)

Hi all,

I am applying as FSW2 with my spouse. Just sent in my application a week ago, and the fee has been charged to my credit card. Yay!

But my original application did not have all our updated police certs (have to get certs for four countries?!). So I am wondering about the following questions:

(1) When in the timeline do they request police certs? For one country, I need a letter from the immigration office requesting a cert before I can apply for the police cert.
(2) I have been living in Canada for more than 6 months, will I also need to submit a Canadian police cert?
(3) Two of my certs are three years old (due to earlier visa application). What is the likelihood the office will request new ones even though I haven't been living in those countries since then?

Ans. yup, no need to worry, even if u hve not supplied a PCC wid ur appln ....u cn always provide it once they ask

Ans. Yes, since more than 6 months you hve to provide 1

About the old PCC:
I lived in a foreign country until 2007, and I submitted with my app. a PCC issued in dec 2010.
In January 2012 I received a request from the VO to send new PCC even I heve not been there since 2007.
I send the new PCC in march 2012.
