Police Certificates for working holiday

Hi guys

I am from the United Kingdom. For the past 2 years I have been on a working holiday in Australia. The only Australian state which I spent more than 6 months in was Victoria. I did not hold an Australian driving license at any time.

I already have my UK police certificate uploaded to 'My CIC' account. Do I need to apply for an Australian one as well before I submit the application? I have found no mention of this during the application process. I can't get in touch with the CIC office to ask and the IEC office will not answer my question.

Hey man,

thanks for the help, I seen that info on the website which you linked for me.

The problem there is that I am not applying for permanent residency like the FAQ suggests. I am only doing a 1 year temporary working holiday.

There is literally no one at the Canadian embassy which I can speak to and the IEC people are unable to help me.
