POLICE CERTIFICATES AND TRAVELLING

So when i was 22, that's 20 years ago, i backpacked for 8 months….does this constitute living abroad for immigration purposes? Do i need a police certificate from the country i was in even though i don't have a single address as i was constantly on the move and living in hostels. My permanent address was the same in the UK before leaving and when i returned.

Only when you stayed in a country for more than 6 months. Otherwise just write down you were travelling for 8 months in different countries
