Police Certificates and dates

Hi everyone,

I had a question regarding Police certificates and the dates.

My home is in Karachi, Pakistan where I have lived most of my life. However, for 4 years I lived in Islamabad, Pakistan for undergrad and 1 year in the US for masters.

Now the police certificate I got from Karachi Police station only says that from 2002 till 2018 I have a clean record for my residence at my home in Karachi. It doesnt account for my time when I was away from the city. Should it be dated like from 2002 till 2011 and 2015 till 2017 and 2018 till present to account for the gaps where I was doing undergrad and masters?

I am really concerned about this since this could be considered misrepresentation by CIC.

I think U shud talk to the police superintendent and ask him to make it from your DOB to present. That’s how it is supposed to be done. I too live on karachi and that’s how mine looks like
