My wife is from the Netherlands and in the online portal it says to upload p
Police Check Certificate (required). However, this contradicts with the guides as it says you will be asked to get police certificate after submitting your PR application. How is she supposed to submit her application if she is unable to because it says Police Check Certificate is required? Please advise.

If your wife needs to submit a police certificate, then upload it before submitting your application. And if she isn't required to submit that, then write a letter of explanation. But AFAICT, the police certificate field is mandatory.

Thanks, I'll get her to start applying.

I see you have chosen to post your question in different parts of the forum, so responses will get split up and some, like me, won't catch on to the multiple posts right away, if at all. I answered your other thread thus:

It depends on which country the pcc is coming from. There are some countries that will only issue pcc at the request of a foreign government, so you must wait for the IRCC to send you the request letter. Others you must obtain and send with your application. This link should help:

If your wife needs a pcc from Netherlands only, then she has to send it with her application, as advised here:
