I would like to start by saying that I'm sorry if this was asked before, although I tried searching the forum and couldn't find an answer to my special case. I appreciate your help and patience.
I applied for a study permit in October 2017 in my home country, but before applying, I read the document checklist on CIC and noticed that a police certificate might be needed (but eventually it wasn't). So I got one in October 4, 2017 and left my country in December 31, 2017. I've been in Canada ever since, and will be applying for PR through Express Entry in August 2018 after I complete my studies.
Is my police certificate still valid? I obtained it 2 months before leaving the country and obtained it just for my study permit at the time. It has no expiry date and I recently sent it to an official translator in Toronto for English translation. Getting a new PCC in my country might take some time (maybe months) because the government tends to be extremely lazy and ignorant at times. Thank you!
