Police certificate validity period

Hi all,

I live in Canada the last 2 years and I have a police certificate (from my country) that was issued on 7 months ago.
I went for summer vacations in my country for 3 weeks.

DO I NEED A NEW POLICE CERTIFICATE?

I think NOT as I meet the conditions according to the CIC site but I would like to confirm with you please.

Who needs a police certificate?
For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.

For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.

I would say no.

You were not living in that country only on Vacation. It clearly states that it's after the last time you lived in that country no had a vacation.

Good debate though be good to see what others say.

You don't need a new PCC. The old one is valid until you return and live in your home country for more than 6 months in a row.
