Hello, everyone.
I am a Canadian, my wife is American. We are getting our stuff together to apply for my wife' Canadian PR and hopefully come to Canada. First step: Police certificate from the FBI.
Got my wife's prints done at the local police station. We are filling out the rest of the FD-258 fingerprint card and two boxes have a stumped. One is the "ORI number," which apparently the FBI says is a must. The other is the "Employer and address." My wife is not applying for any employment, obviously, so we have no idea what this box means either. Seems like we've hit a brick wall before getting out of the gate on this thing! Any help would be appreciated.
Again, questions are: On the FBI fingerprint card, which is used to get a police certificate to apply for Canadian PR, what is the "ORI number"? Is it really necessary? What is "Employer and address," and is it necessary?
Many thanks again!
