I read on the forum that if I go back to the U.S. after requesting the police certificate from the FBI, I will have to request a new one.
But the CIC website says this:
"For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time YOU LIVED in that country."
It says "lived", not "visited" or "been".
I live right by the border and I have family in the US, so it would really suck if I can't go back to the States for several months (since it's gonna take 3-4 months at least for the certificate to get sent to me in Canada).
