I hope you can help me with this.
I got an ITA for the express entry, and I am in the process of preparing my Docs. I am faced with a problem.
I have stayed in Jordan for more than 183 days: 4 month + 1 month + over 30 days in separate visits and transits. Going through the requirements, I thought I need to issue a police certificate from there.
I contacted the Embassy here in London, and they asked me to fill the form and pay the fees, and said it will take 7 weeks to be done.
7 Weeks passed, and they contacted me saying: Sorry, authorities in Jordan said you HAVE TO GO to Jordan to issue this by yourself. You have to be physically there.
I was upset since CIC and the Embassy have clear instructions that I can get it through the Embassy here in London.
I am in School, and I cannot just go to Jordan at this time and it will be crazy expensive because I have to go there with my kids and wife.
My questions are:
1- Will my transit days through Jordan be calculated as part of the 6 months period stay condition? Total days I stayed in Amman in the past is 190 days including transit days (Waiting for another flight)
2- If I explain to CIC that I cannot go to Amman, Jordan to issue these, and provide the response fo their embassy, and show them how they screwed me for 7 weeks, Do you think they will waive this for me?
I have obtained some other certificates from countries such as USA, UK, Turkey....etc
Anyone with a similar experience, PLEASE HELP .
