Dear folks,
I need some information regarding Police Certificates from Pakistan.

We lived in 2 different cities in Pakistan, mainly lived in out hometown most of the time. For studies me and my husband did stayed in different cities, for around 2 year or so. And it is mentioned in our personal History and academics.

Please can anyone guide me in this context.

Is it necessary to obtain Police Certificate from EACH city, or ONE from our Hometown will be enough. Regarding PCC from Pakistan

Please someone reply.....PCC are hard to get in time, if you have visited many countries >:(

Sis, you have to get the PCC's from all the cities of Pakistan in which you have stayed 6 months or more after 18 years... so yes, you need to get the PCC's from both the cities

Hi there,

Well generally the PCC are issued from one country's police department not from the city's police station, The department check for any criminality records with each police stations where the applicant has lived, and in most countries this data base is managed by head department and shared with local offices.
I have seen in most of the cases, I am in U.K and I lived at three different addresses in 5 years but I got my PCC issued from one department which is ACPO Criminal Record Office, and from Pakistan I got it issued from my City Police Station.

In your case, where you/ your husband has lived at 2 or more addresses in different cities, when Pakistan Police do not have any centralized or shared data base and they keep/ maintain the records locally and manually.
I suggest you/ your husband get PCC from each major cities you/ he have/ has lived and provide PCC issued from each Police Station.
Also remember when you fill out the forms specially the background declaration form, remember to include your address history according to your police certificates.

I hope it helps.

Thanks
Wicky

Hi, i had stayed in more then three major cities of Pakistan, but in my documents, i had only submitted the PCC of my hometown.
And it was cooly accepted.

Cheers..

only one PCC is needed for the place you are currently living in...CIC manuals do not say anything about multiple PCCs from a single country............
