I just want to ask if anyone had experience in getting a Japanese police certificate for employment. I came to their office, with the letter from my company and the letter from PSPC stating that they need to check my background in Japan. However, they said that in the letter, it should state under what Act do I need a background check in Japan. They told me that I find that Act on my own by visiting Canada Justice Law website but I do not know how to find it. I would really appreciate if someone can help me identify what Act is for the background check requirement, and if you had ever gotten a police certificate (Japan) for employment.
I must say I recently applied for a police certificate (Japan) for my PNP approval with the letter of confirmation of OINP. For permanent residence reason. its really easy to get that police certificate. However, for employment, they require more letters...
