Police Certificate (India) - Procedure?

I am preparing for my PR application. I am on a work permit in Canada. My indian passport was issued in 2008 and is due to be expired on 2018.

I came to canada in 2013 on study permit. Now, i have to apply for my police Certificate from Toronto. My concern is that - the address written on my passport is different from the current one as my parents moved to a different place in my absence as i never went to india.

Will this create a problem? Is there any police verification done in India? Please someone help. I dont have any address proof of the new address in India.

Unfortunately NO. It doesnt seem anybody wants to help us.

@joe9kah Don't worry too much about the address being different.

From what I remember when I did my PCC from India, they didn't even come to our home or call to check. They only check your name with their records/database to see if you are clean.

Also, if your current address is different in India with the one mentioned on your Passport, you can mention that on the PCC application form when you fill it out.

In the end, don't stress to much about this small fact, just ask the guys at the office where you go to submit and they will help you out as well.
