I've received my ITA and I am currently gathering documents.

I am currently on a post-graduate work permit and when I was a student I have gone to visit my parents who live in the USA.
Note that I am NOT an American citizen.

Each of my visits was less than 4 months. Do I require a Police certificate from the United States?

This is the quote from CIC :
As part of a complete application, applicants, their spouse or common-law partner and their dependent children 18 years of age or older (including non-accompanying dependents) must submit a valid police certificate for all countries or territories (except Canada) in which they have lived for a total of six months or more, since the age of 18.

If total of your visit time is more than 6 months, you require to have PCC from USA.

Please note that the rule no longer says "in a row". All countries you have visited since 18 need to be considered. So you must use your travel history to determine an accumulated number of days you have a visited countries outside of your country of residence. If the total number of days exceeds 180 (or comes close) you will need a PCC.
