Police Certificate: get one from each country?

So My wife has been in Canada since she was 17 as an international student.

She is now 20 and has traveled many times back home ( turkey) for periods of about 4 months each (holidays, winter time).

When getting the police certificate does she have to request one from Canada and one from the Turkish Embassy?
or will the Canadian police take care of the Turkish one?

PCC's are required for any country that she has spend 6 months or more in, since she was 18.
