Police Certificate, funny timeline. Will VO reject?

OK here's the case: I stayed in Singapore between Dec 200 to Apr 2009, study n work. Since then I returned to China. But in Mar 2018 I returned to Singapore for holiday, only stayed for 10 days.

When I apply for PCC in Singapore, though I stated that I did return to Singapore in 2018 (theoretically my last day in Singapore was March 13th), they issued an PCC with the period of 2000 to 2009.

Will it cause a rejection? Should I request for another PCC?

Yes, it will cause a rejection. And you should ask for a new one, which will cover the whole period up to 2018.

Just now I called Singapore Police Force Hotline, they say their system only record long term stays for more than 6 month, social visit does not qualify and they will not issue another copy of PCC.

If that is the situation, you should explain it to CIC in your LOE. They are quite strict about these PCC things.

the Singapore PCC is requested as additional doc, n now the status is showing 'not applicable', does it mean I need to update them about my situation? what does it mean by not applicable???

It's just CIC wordings and your file is moving. You don't have to do anything. If they need anything, they will let you know through email.

so I just stay put, just now called Singapore Police again, they told me to let CIC know they dun issue PCC for 10 days, they will back me up with email if necessary. Thanks for your reply.
