police certificate/clearance from INDIA

Hello,

My parents have applied for immigration to Canada and now are on the 2nd step of the application. They live in Karachi, Pakistan and at one point had lived in India.

They are required to get a police certificate/clearance from India. How do they obtain this while they live in Karachi?

With poor diplomatic relations between the two countries is this even possible?

well may be its possible. you can contact nearer Indian high commission to request police clearance certificate. i hope this will work for you.
