POLICE CERTIFICATE 5 MONTHS OLD AT TIME OF APPLICATION

Hello Everyone,
My police certificate would be 5 months old by the time I am ready to send in my PR application in May. Would CIC still accept it? Does anyone have a similar experience?

havent recvd ITA yet. but my agent said we would have to renew once we get ITA even if our country issues certificates that has one year validity on it. what i was told that certificates we submit is only good for 3 months upon creating an EE profile.

someone correct me if i am wrong. but i would rather get a new one than jeopardize the application
