hi ive never been convicted how ever i have been cautioned by the police and this has shown up on my police checks will this afect my application ?

If it is not a conviction to a crime, it will not effect, although you may need to explain whatever comes up on your record.

Yes, in the UK if you accept a caution it means that you have committed the crime. CHC/CIC considers this a conviction.
