If you are asking, will you automatically qualify for having a valid job offer (50 points), then the answer is no.
You would need to get a new job offer letter from your employer, offering employment for one year or more AFTER you become a permanent resident.
In that case, what I understand, and my calculations are as below :
- Now I have, With LMIA + 2 Year Closed WP + Job Offer from my employer.
- 1 year passes, I apply though EE profile, gets points of work experience(85) and lmia (50)
But here, If I need to add 50 more points on top of 85, I need to get extended job offer from employer that after I get PR, I'll be work there for 1 year.
Also correct me, for that 1 year extended job offer employer no need to file LMIA again right?
Below is the summary.
