Points for Education

Hi,

Sorry for all the questions but I cant figure out how many points i get for my education.

I have completed 14 years school and completed a 1 year certificate course and 40 week part time diploma course. Can anyone help please.

You get 15 points. You will find it in the EG guide.

Oh god really, it is a one year part-time course with work involved throughout the working week with the course nights included. I thought this may have been got me the 20 points can you suggest anything should i do more course to my points, im coming in with only 64 points now I thought i had the 67.

Well, you need to have a two year diploma with at least 14 yrs to claim the 20 points. Pleasego thru page 7 in the EG guide. Link is available in my signature.

For the missing three points, have you tried enhancing IELTS? Just an idea.

Thanks for your help, my native language is English so I was hoping when i complete the english test that Ill get full marks. If I had basic french could that improve my points do you think?

Yes. 24 points are allocated for language; 16 for first and 8 for secondary language. Good luck on this.
